AboutMacBAT 5

The MacBAT 5 works with rotary, turbine or ultrasonic meters to deliver precise correction and accurate readings. Its built-in LTE modem offers fast and reliable remote data reading. The device prevents discrepancies between gas meter and corrector readings by using reverse gas flow detection and compensation.

It measures data every second using certified algorithms that support natural gas, hydrogen and biomethane. It runs up to 14 years without battery replacement and stores up to 10 years of measurement data in its large memory. The NFC-based configuration lets you set it up easily using a mobile phone app. The corrector also integrates with SCADA or BMS systems using popular communication protocols.

The MacBAT 5 is a compact intrinsically safe electronic corrector that mixes precision measurement with strong communication features. It uses built-in sensors (LF, HF, Encoder, Wiegand) to calculate compressibility with advanced algorithms (SGERG-88, AGA-92, NX-19-mod, K₁) and gives accurate correction to base conditions.

The device has reverse flow detection, second-by-second sampling and up to 10 years of storage capacity. It comes with an LTE modem, NFC and Modbus interfaces for easy SCADA or data system integration.

The long battery life, IP66 protection and rugged housing make it suitable for urban networks and remote outdoor installations.
